Performing music to the under-5s at The Royal London Hospital

Over the summer term, we have been working in conjunction with Vital Arts on a project called The Song Weaver at The Royal London Hospital. Together with early years music specialists Zoe Palmer and Jack Ross, and Trainee Music Leader Abimaro Gunnel, we’ve been leading singing workshops in the Neonatal Unit, the Gastro ward, and the Retinoblastoma Clinic.

The team is currently busy in the recording studio producing a bespoke CD of songs, specially composed for Speech and Language Therapists, along with the children and their families. The CD will be released in autumn, but for a little taste of what to expect, have a listen to last year’s Lullabies:
