What happens when you defy musical conventions?

club inegales

They’re enigmatic, spontaneous, experimental… club inégales is indeed a ‘place of surprises’.

Directed by Peter Wiegold, club inégales are bringing their unique musical offerings to East London in June!

The night will feature a stellar line-up of special guests including free jazz legend Evan Parker, contemporary cellist and Artist-in-Residence at Southbank Centre Oliver Coates, Korean taegum player Hyelim Kim, seminal trumpeter Byron Wallen, and Gambian kora player Sura Susso.

They’ll be transforming Wilton’s Music Hall into a jazz club for the night through a series of unexpected musical encounters – it’s all about the live experience!

Keep an eye out for interviews with members of the line-up, and in the meantime check out the videos below as the audience try to describe the club inégales experience and notes inégales collaborate with Will Self on a Kafkaesque journey of discovery.
