Crowd Out is Pulitzer Prize-winning composer David Lang’s extraordinary new piece for 1000 people coming to East London this summer.
We’re continuing our search for 1000 voices who want to shout, sing, whisper and chant, taking their place in the crowd as part of the piece. To give you an idea of what’s involved and how David came to write Crowd Out, our friends at Birmingham Contemporary Music Group caught up with David Lang and conductor Simon Halsey to answer some of your frequently asked Crowd Out questions.
